A park for everyone

The party is everywhere. But above all in the theme parks. Aquasplash is among the leading water parks in Italy, with dizzying slides and huge pools. Gulliverlandia, is the amusement park designed for all ages. Strabilia is a super-amusement park that glitters with lights. For the little ones, there is  Gommosi and Parco Junior. Not to mention the Punta Verde Zoo Park with more than 1500 animals.

The night is young

Lignano, at night, is illuminated by thousands of lights between discos, pubs, and trendy hot spots. The crowds are cosmopolitan and festive, swallowing you up into a sea of excitement. Historic establishments like Tenda, Perbacco, Before, Tango, Cafè Noir, Life Cafè, La Suite Cafè are perfect for cocktails before moving on to the discos that for years have been the main form of entertainment for everyone. Kursaal, Mr. Charlie, Mirò, Ca’Margherita, and Drago are just some of the clubs that light up the night with music and festivities. We are in Lignano Pineta, so everyone tends to meet at Tenda,  a trendy spot for a pre-dinner aperitivo following a day on the beach.  If instead you are seeking a quiet spot, if you crave a relaxing after-dinner drink, an appetizer or a dish of cold meats and cheese, in the heart of the Lignano, just a short stroll away, is Perbacco. The Mocambo opens every Sunday evening behind Kursaal for aperitifs and is a beach disco and meeting place for thousands of young people.

Marano and the magic of the lagoon.

Marano, where you can breathe the authentic atmosphere of a fishing village. From here, by water, you can reach the Foci dello Stella nature reserve: the evocative colours of the lagoon reveal a kingdom of herons, falcons and other birds. And this is a prelude to a village of large houses enveloped in magic.

All it takes is a day or an afternoon to explore the inland and leave seafood behind for the flavourful cooking of Friuli.
Every product and dish has a story to tell. Like the San Daniele prosciutto or cured ham, the product of a unique clime and hands that have guarded the age-old secrets that give this delicacy its unmistakable flavour. And then there are the wines of Friuli vineyards: renowned zones of DOC and DOCG wines that are coveted worldwide, all to be discovered in the cellars with the scents of old barrels, where master winemakers narrate the secrets of their trade.

Cities of art and culture: Udine, Cividale, Trieste, and Portogruaro can all be reached in less than an hour.

Venice

You can park your car free of charge at the Latisana railway station and be in the heart of Venice by train in just one hour (services are frequent).
